New Chairman of Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA)

• On June 20, 2025, Shri Sivasubramanian Raman has assumed charge as the Chairman of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).

• His appointment has been notified by the Government of India for a term of five years or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
• Shri Raman is a 1991 batch officer of the Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS).
• Earlier, he served as Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General and CTO in the Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
• In addition, he has held several leadership positions, including Chairman & MD of SIDBI, MD & CEO of National e-Governance Services Limited (NESL), and Principal Accountant General of the State of Jharkhand.
