India's first quantum computing valley will be launched in Amaravati by January 2026, as announced by IT Secretary Katamneni Bhaskar.
This will enable academic institutions, healthcare providers, pharma companies and agri-tech and med-tech industries not only in Andhra Pradesh but across the country to avail the services of the Quantum Valley.
The Quantum Valley Tech Park is expected to employ lakhs of professionals through research, innovation and industry collaboration.
Access to its infrastructure will be provided to various state bodies, institutions and industries across the country.
Katamaneni Bhaskar clarified that quantum computing will not eliminate jobs, as classical systems will continue to remain relevant.
