Under-17 World Wrestling Championship, 2025

• Indian women wrestlers won a total of five medals at the 2025 Under-17 World Wrestling Championships held in Athens.
• These five medals include two gold, two silver and one bronze medal.
• Rachna created history by becoming the first Indian to win a gold medal in the 43 kg women's freestyle category.
• She defeated China's Xin Huang 3-0.
• Ashwini Bishnoi added to India's medal tally by winning the gold medal in the 65 kg category.
• She also defeated Uzbekistan's Mukhiyo Rakhimjonova 3-0.
• Moni won the silver medal in the 57 kg category. She lost 5-6 to Kazakhstan's Madakhia Usmanov in a close final.
• Kajal won another silver medal in the 73 kg weight category. She was defeated by China's Wenjin Qiu in the final.
• Komal Verma won the bronze medal in the 49 kg category. She defeated Anhelina Burkina.
