16th Asian Shooting Championship,2025

• Girish Gupta of India won the gold medal in the 10m air pistol men's youth category at the 16th Asian Shooting Championship held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.
• He scored 241.3 points in the final. 14-year-old Dev Pratap won the silver medal by scoring 238.6 points in the same event.

• Kapil Bainsala of Palwal, Haryana gave India the first gold medal of the championship.
• He won the junior men's 10m air pistol final by scoring 243.0 points.
• Ilkhombek Obidjonov of Uzbekistan finished second by scoring 242.4 points in the junior final.
• Jonathan Gavin Antony of India won the bronze medal in the junior event. He scored 220.7 points.

• Kapil, Jonathan and Vijay Tomar competed together in the junior men's team event.
• They won the silver medal with a total of 1723 points.
• South Korea won the team gold medal in this category with 1734 points.

• Kazakhstan finished third and won the bronze medal.
