India Energy Week 2026

• Prime Minister Modi virtually inaugurated the fourth edition of India Energy Week 2026 on January 27, 2026.
• The India Energy Week (IEW) 2026 conference is being held in South Goa.
• Following the inauguration, the Prime Minister addressed the delegates virtually.
• The inaugural ceremony was held in Betul village, South Goa district.
• Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, was present at the inaugural ceremony.
• Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, also attended the inauguration.
• Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Canada, also participated in the inauguration.
• Senior ministers from Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and other Global South regions attended the inaugural ceremony.
• The objective of India Energy Week 2026 is to enhance energy security in various countries.
